Leeds Let’s Get Active in the Park

Experience Community is really pleased to be involved with Leeds Let’s Get Active in the Park 2016, which is a programme to encourage people who do not do any physical activity to do at least 30 minutes of physical activity, once a week.

Leeds Let’s Get Active supports inactive people becoming active through the provision of free access to leisure centre and community sports and activities within a supportive and welcoming environment.

So why not get out and get active this summer! This year the hugely popular Leeds Let’s Get Active programme is expanding to bring free activity sessions into your local park! From the 31st of May through to the 2nd of September, a variety of activities will run in Armley, East End and Middleton parks. There will be something for everyone – from rounders to running, tennis to multi-sport and cycling to bumps ‘n’ buggies sessions. Come along and try out something new in the park – everyone is welcome!

Experience Community will be at Middleton Park with our fleet of Mountain Trikes every second Thursday of the Month during June, July, August and September 2016.

You can also get involved in other Leeds Let’s Get Active in the Park Sessions – Take a look at the timetables below to find your nearest session!
