Aysgarth Falls

This is a 2.5 mile route that is very challenging for wheelchair users. Suitable clothing should be worn for this route and ensure that the ground conditions are not too wet when attempting it as many of the paths may become very muddy. As with all outdoor activities in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, please check the weather forecast before setting off and remember that the weather can be very changeable.

The paths on this route are variable from tarmac surfaces and compacted gravel through to grassy fields and rocky terrain. There are several steep inclines to be tackled to complete this route and some beautiful views of Aysgarth Middle Falls, Bolton Castle and the surrounding countryside.

The National Park Centre has 4 disabled parking spaces but blue badge holders are required to Pay & Display. There is also a small gift shop, information point, cafe and a disabled toilet that is operated with a RADAR Key.
